Cable Signal Booster

I live in an apartment where they probably have one cable line coming in to ten different places which is then split again to five different TVs and a cable modem at each point. Needless to say our signal is less than desirable and we get kicked off from the internet every so often. I'm under the impression that a booster, like this one would be the solution to our problems. Please let me know what you think.

The solution to your problems is contacting your service provider and having them fix their service, that's what you're paying for. The amp will do nothing for you.
