Cable question

Ok, I can get 600K/190K cable internet for 30/month, or 800K/800K for 40/month. I don't care about the downstream, 600 is fine, but what about that 190 upstream? What kind of pings would I get with that? I'm also considering setting up a webserver that would get pretty limited traffic(mostly AOL users and no big downloads), would I need 800K upstream for that?

Most cable companies prohibit you from running a webserver. For most people 190 upstream is fine as most of your traffic is downstream.
