Cable question

I was wondering if anyone could help with this: I ran a CAT5 cable for my DSL and ended up about 15 feet short of the D-Mark. I had some older CAT2 (I think)it's voice cable with no twist in it cable that I used to finish the line to the D-Mark. I have connected the modem and everything seems fine. My question is how much will the 15 feet of non CAT5 cable affect the speed of my DSL? Thanks for the help.
