Cable modem with in house network

Hi all, I have decided to get my local cable company to install a cable modem service to my house. They will come and install a network card into my PC soon. My question is will I still be able to set up a two PC network in my house? Will I need to have two network cards in the PC that has the cable modem? Is there an adaptor or something? I sure hope I am still able to have an in house network. Thanks to anyone that replies.

Yes, you can still setup your home network after cable is installed... And yes again, you will need 2 NICs in the PC connected to the cable modem...
