Cable modem tweaking Prob

I'm trying to do this tweak from tweak3d.net,but for some reason i don't have the settings in my registry it is referring to.

just curious if i should have these settings or not.

and here is the line that has me confused.i don't have this setting


"If there is more than 1 with MaxMTU settings in there, use the 1st one, which is probably 0000"

i have nothing that says MaxMTU under the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\NetTrans"

i have the 0000 but thats it.nothing in there about MaxMTU.


if anyone can give me some info on why i don't have this setting,i'd appreciate it.

I'm on RoadRunner cable.

Go to http://www.speedguide.net and just install the cable modem registry patch for your operating system.

Lst time i tried the patch it didn't seme to help to well.

but will try again.
