Cable modem signal boosters

while I was working as the optimum online head, we do have amps, it's really for big houses where your tap is far from the street. I gave a few to my friend and they love it, basically you just need a amp to boost 5mhz to 2000mhz. But are u looking for signal booster or cable modem speed booster
 
You should try it and let us know 🙂 Its the holidays, and if you buy from BeatBuy, you have like 2 months to return it. You can return accessories like this no sweat, as the proverbial "I couldn't get it to work" excuse is as good as gold these days.

Anyone have a link? I haven't seen this and I personally believe they won't help if I understand this correctly. Just sounds like a signal booster for locations have long lengths of cable.

It looks like a mine or something funky from Radioshack. I'm curious too as to its effectiveness, considering it isn't actively powered. Wouldn't shock me if it worked well though, the difference between a cheapo coax splitter and a nice 2.4ghz splitter is incredible.

Edit: NM read the description and it IS powered. Could be a very nice product if you are getting fuzzy picture to your TV tuner. How much it would affect cable modem bandwidth and latency, I dunno, probably still more dependent on how many people are sharing on your node.
 
hmmmm interesting... I wonder where the best place to install it would be? in the line before the line splits all over the place so everythign could benefit? or just in front of my modem? Or maybe like 10 of them so I can put one in front of every device and every split
