cable modem blues

bad storms came thru and fried my tosibha cable modem so I am back on a dial--up.Feel my pain .

At least you were smart enough to keep a dialup account open and paid up. I have no dialup account; if my modem goes (it has in the past) I'm screwed.

But then again, I live in a city of 1.2 Million people and the nearest TimeWarner office is a scant 15-minute drive from me; instant modem replacement Monday thru Saturday, 0900-1700.

Got the replacement cable modem from Tosibha today.Gotta love that 5 year warrenty !
