I'm ready to dump my dsl for cable modem service. I have Time Warner Digital Cable in NYC and I can now choose from Road Runner, Earthlink High Speed Internet or AOL Broadband (never in a million years.) Is there a site where I can read reviews on these providers, kind of like a dslreports for cable modem service? and which would you choose between road runner and earthlink? thanks!

I don't know if it will help any or not, probably not, but you can look up cable providers on dslreports. Just go to reviews and type in the name of
the ISP that you're looking for and it should bring it up. If that doesn't work, there is a list of the ISP's with Cable service.

Cable ISP's

That list also shows DSL as well, just go to the letter of the provider. There may be other sites that give information too but I thought I might
suggest this, in case you hadn't tried it. Good luck!

Isn't Earthlink on Time Warners lines? And of course AOL is Time Warner now.
