Cable Modem and a Network

Can I hook a cable modem to my hub and have internet access to my three computers? Will I need special software or will the hub just accomodate the three units?
 
If your ISP lets you have more than 1 ip address you can, otherwise you need to run a sharing software such at ICS(formerly Nat1000), Sygate, Winroute, or some other proxy/NAT software.
