Cable management

My computer is a mess when it comes to cables. I guess I am bad at tucking them away. This was my first build, so I didnt want to go modular. Anyway, wanted to see what ppl here think are the best options for a neat looking, well ventilated case.

You can search these forums for cable mangement pics dnoe by a lot of different people. My cable mangement is here. The thread is pretty long, and it shows what I started with and what I ended with. Whatever the last pictures are in that thread is how I currently have it. For a neat looking case though, zip ties work well. You can also sleeve all your cables too. If you want the lazy mans way of sleeving cables, you can get some flex tubing like this which is really easy to use.

Holy cow, that's a nice wiring job :Q

Anywho... mobo trays and the backs of drive cages are your friends. Here's a couple pics of my WM efforts.

Not as tidy as that other fella's, but gets 'em out of the way. Case is Antec P160 - it lends itself well to smoke-and-mirrors tricks. 😀

My cabling isn't great, but i sleeved it all in UV-reactive green -- so it looks good even though everything isn't hidden. I just tried to hide the excess a bit in the free space below my DVD drives.
