Cable internet and dual tv tuner via splitter?

So, in our bedroom, we have our cable modem hooked up, and we're thinking about buying a tv tuner with dual tuners (both HD). Will it be possible to buy a threeway splitter, hook all three of them up and no sacrifice speed on the internet and picture quality on tv?

Obviously if you split the signal enough eventually you'll see problems, but you should be fine with just a three-way split.

As said above, as long as you aren't running too many splitters you'll be fine.
