The lady who lives across the street was robbed by her cable installer. He was installing cable in her bedroom and I guess saw stuff he liked. She came home from work the next night to find him in her house robbing her.

It doesn't surprise me. Cable technicians are an interesting bunch, every one I've ever seen has looked sketchy, dress sloppy, unshaven, messy hair, etc...a lot of creepy dudes seem to work in this profession for some reason.

this is precisely why I don't text and even block it. Because cable guys could very possibly contact me.

when i lived in town and had Cable internet installed (wish i still had it) the installer was great.

we ended up talking about snakes (i have ball pythons) and computers. the guy was professional and polite.

now the satalite installers i had at my new house were the opposite. i really didn't want them going into my daughters room at all or my room.

This would have been the ideal time to drop the "I have a boyfriend" line....she's not a very sharp one is she?

Meh, complete non-issue. If he keeps sending her text messages then sure consider reporting him but otherwise just forget about it.
