Cable gone kaputz

Yea I tried the networking thread but it seems that only OT is populated right now so I'm going to try this here.

So my internet just kind of went out right now and all the lights on my cable modem are fine except the status light. It is constantly blinking and it's not able to pick up a connection to the internet. Is it most likely the cable company's fault?

Cable company : Charter
anyone else in the 626 area that's having problems with their internet or is it just me?

Call the cableco. They'll either tell you how to fix it, or tell you that they're working on it.

Yea I was thinking of that but it's like almost 2 a.m

I guess I'll do it in the morning. Live on 56k for now 😱

try unplugging it for 60 seconds.

EDIT: the power on the modem, not the cable itself.
