Unsure of something here, own a GTX 295.
To power the card I am using supplied cables:
#1 -- 2-6pin to 1-8pin connector
#2 -- 2-4pin molex to 6-pin connector
I'm looking at buying some sleeved cables and I'm not sure this will work.
If I buy a PCI Express 2.0 extension cable, will I be able to attach it to the end of the #1 and then plug it into the card? So it'd go 2-6pins plugged into 1-8pin adapter plugged into extension cable plugged into GPU.
I'd do the same with a PCI Express 6-pin extension - could I plug this into the end of #2 and then into the card?
Will these work? Just want to make sure. Thanks.
