cable DVR users! how to record program so far out?

just got the motorola dual tuner DVR like an hour ago, I think its the DCT6412, and I am trying to record show the apprentice, but the tv listings will only show the programs only up to tomorrow. How do I record up coming shows that are not in the TV listing yet? do I have to wait until the day of the program to record? thats stupid! maybe my TV listings isn't complete yet, like it's still "downloading" from comcast?

My box has a "Record all episodes" selection.

It's probably still downloading, you should have 2 weeks of guid data.
