Does anyone here use their computer to descramble their cable?

Legally of course. (This is a joke)

I have heard that it can be done but I would like to know how.

If anyone knows any guides online or a place I can download the software please give me a PM or e-mail me at..

Don't even think about it because the cable company can now tell if you are descrambling your cable.

Isn't it they can tell if you're using a black box because it sends a signal back, but what if you're using software through your computer? I don't think tv tuners send out any signal, I could be wrong though.

Way back when, when I had analog cable box, seem to remember finding an ad in the back of Popular Mechanics or Popular Science, I'm on a digital system now, and can't even find a universal remote that works really well...

I think Popular Science has a website & lists their classifieds, can't remember the URL though. :D

the crap about it reporting is not true. I have used these box's before digital cable(2 way) and they were ok, but VERY expensive, now i just pay the Extra $$$ a month, and not worry about the FBI knocking on my door. Don't waste your time

if you dont have the 50 bucks a month, then dont get cable. how hard is it? God. some people really REALLY need to get with the picture. its people like you that cause our cable prices to be 50 bucks in the first place... and our computer games to be 50 bucks... why dont you just go steal a car, you obviously cant afford to buy one, so its OK in your mind.
