Cable connectiong USB ports of two PC?

Is there any type of cable that can connect USB ports of two PC to enable file transfter between them? Just like we use cables to connect serial/parallel ports in "ancient" times?
 
Yeah there is. It's a special type of USB cable. I got mine from Buslink a few years ago. It was $50 for a 6 ft. cable and the software. I just got my dad one from Compusa that was $20 for an 8 ft. cable and software. When I installed the software and drives on his box(es) it turns out that it's the same drivers and software as the $50 Buslink cable. I got it in the Networking section at my local Compusa. They're Compusa brand in a clear blister pack with Compusa red/white graphics.
