We've had on-demand for awhile now, but just recently they integrated it right into some of the channels.

Say i flip to Animal Planet and the show started 14 minutes ago. Up pops a window asking if I want to start it over, click Select and it just restarts the show, right on the same channel. It even seems to be on some of the news channels...

Anyway, just thought it was kinda handy...

EDIT: Cable Co is Brighthouse Networks

That's pretty cool- I've often wished for that feature. They must have like a universal DVR system set up on the other end.

I doubt Comcast would do something actually worthwhile. All they do is raise the prices.

I kinda get something like this with Time Warner occasionally. I'll switch to a channel, and the info bar shows that an hour of the program is cached, so I can rewind the channel back an hour.

Of course, I can't reproduce it, and it never works on the good channels. :p

Comcast added that feature when we had to replace our old HDTV box. It was only $8/month extra and well worth it.

Hmm...since I have Comcast, I just realized that I can relate, too.

Comcast is introducing new value packs. These packs feature less channels for more money then your existing package (package to be discontinued) in order to provide a better value to our customers. Sign up now and the comcast CEO will come to your house and take a dump in your lap free of charge.
