I have Time Warner Digital Cable and a standard TV. Currently, they are connected together with a RF cable. If I use S-video or component video cables, will the difference be noticable?
 
I wouldn't expect miracles, but I'd think there'd be some improvement, especially with component.
 
S-video - barely
Component - a lot of benefit.

You did mean component, not composite right? Because S-video and composite are very closely related.
