Ca smog impact fee

Ca in its infinite wisdom during the 90's required anyone who brought in a car from outside Ca to pay an "impact"fee I was one that got hit...well in 1999 someone took the DMV to court and won...now the state is required to repay all smog impact fees + interest...I paid $300 in 91...just got my money back...$487 with the interest...Idiot DMV...but its cool to get a $500 check in the mail,now what to spend it on...
