CA real estate tax question?

My brother recently purchased a new home in california. He's wondering when he will receive his first real estate tax bill for this year?

He probably already paid it in his closing costs.

He only paid for the end of 2002 when he got it. Nothing for 2003.

It's usually for an entire year, check the contract and his papers. Other than that, it is twice a year I think.

The next payment is due April 10.

It may have been already paid but if not he'll find out.

It definetely wasn't paid already. When will a bill for it come?
