CA feels like mexico sometimes

Someone in the neighborhood is blasting some loud ass mexican music. On top of a third of all signs/print being in spanish and stuff. And the usual every 1/4 or so car on the freeway is some dumpy ass beater with hispanics in it.

Not that i have anything particular against mexicans, but it costs a fair amount to live in CA, things like this kind of make it feel foreign and a little trashy, might be time to move to another state.

 
Well CA used to be part of Mexico, and if they can get enough gringos like you to move away they'll take it back 😀
 
mugs beat me to it. You damn gringos stole it from them in the first place, they're just trying to take it back any way they can.

BTW, if you ever go there, meet a real pretty senorita that can cook, and you have the taco, you will never bash Mexicans again. 😉

We have a pretty good sized Hispanic population here in Northeast Ohio. Which is rather nice if you ask me. There are two real Mexican restaraunts (not Americanized crap like Chipotle) within ten minutes of where I live (and another about 20 minutes away) and a real Mexican grocery store. What really sucks though is the only good and close Indian restaraunt closed down a while ago. I've been dying for a good samosa.
 
Imo its the arrogant and conceited white californians that make it the sh!thole that its become, and that has nothing to do with an abundance of mexicans. Heck, California would be one of the best places on earth to live if it wasn't populated by Californians.
 
I don't have a problem with hispanic Americans. But I do have a problem with 2nd and 3rd generation hispanic Americans barely knowing any English. Or going on how great Mexico is. Or all the Hecho de Mexico or whatever it is stickers plastered on their car. Proud of Mexico? Please move back there.

Are you talking about the westside of Cleveland? Like W 25th and Clark Ave?

Garfield Heights (and surrounding) actually. But W25th is another area. Ever been to Mi Pueblo?

 
As a resident of the SF Bay Area, it was very sad to see both 92.3 KSJO and Channel 104.9 change to Mexican formats over the last few years. What really got me, though, was earlier this year when the illegal aliens all protested, and they were waving the Mexican flag everywhere (until someone told them it would probably be a good idea to wave the American flag..) I think many of them really do want this area to be part of Mexico.

Garfield Hts and the surrounding area in far from being a Hispanic area...I grew up in that area and still live fairly close to it.

Mi Pueblo? Which one? We go to Luchita's for dinner now and then...

True, but considering how hugely Polish it used to be, it's a decent change. The Mi Pueblo I'm referring to is the one by Severance Hall. Haven't been there in a looooong time, same with Luchita's. I'm going to have to correct that. 😀

uhh... make your way to any mexican neighborhood and tell me with a straight face that this is what you want America to be like. at least in a conceited white neighborhood, people are respectful, dignified, and don't live with the selfishness of trashing whatever area they populate in california.

Get used to it. Our local newspaper had a special on this issue and experts say CA will be over 50% Mexicans by year 2020. They seem to have more offsprings in general compared to whites, blacks, and Asians.
