C4000 Olympus Doesnt Take Great Pictures

I am probably doing something wrong but I feel that my olympus 550 are taking sharper pictures. I hav tried all the settings.The pics look ok but not great any plave for tips.

Check and see what your in-camera sharpening setting is. Some people like to sharpen to taste later, and choose not to have the camera do it before hand.
