This is my second time building a system. I'm going with a Core 2 Duo system - my AMD is having overheating problems, I'm not a gamer anyways. I'm more into video-editing and multimedia stuff.

Heres the parts from newegg:

Mobo:Intel Socket T (LGA 775) Intel G965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model

RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

HD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s

PSU: APEVIA (ASPIRE) ATX-AS680W-BL ATX12V/ EPS12V 680W

Case: (Keeping what I have) RAIDMAX Mustang ATX-889WBP Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Video Cards: Screw that, do I freakin need one if I have onboard mobo video? I mean, I'm not a gamer - I'm a video/multimedia kind of guy.

My Main concerns are any compatibility issues - will all these work together?
Also, I would like any suggestions on improving.

I'd appreciate any assitance. Thanks.

You can do better than Aspire for the power supply, I would go with a quality brand. 680w is meaningless if the power supply is using generic components. 680w is way overklll for your system anyway. Go with a quality brand such as enermax, seasonic, or fortron.

Ditto. Also, you might want to consider a beefier video card if there's a chance you might go with dual monitors or windows vista.
