Ok, so I have an E4400 running at 3.0 with the stock HSF. My temps are 44 idle and 72 under full Orthos load. How much can I expect these to drop with a 129 Extreme? Thanks for the help!

Assuming you lap the Ultra 120 Extreme, about 25-30C. If I were you, though, I'd just grab a Tuniq Tower, since it's more heatsink than you need, and won't require lapping. As a matter of fact, if you aren't wanting to overclock any higher, just grab a cheap Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro; it will drop your temps considerably.

I don't want to stop at 3.0, I would like to max it out. The only reason I am stopping there now is because it is taking a little voltage to get it to 3.0 and I don't want my temps any higher until I get some better cooling.

Based on my experiences with my current machine, with an unlapped Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 with a SFF21F at maximum with an E6750 at stock 2.66 GHz, the temps I got were as follows (read using RightMark CPU Clock Utility) with ambient temp of 27C under full load:
Intel Stock HSF = 48 C
Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 = 36 C.

So I would say probably a 10C'ish temperature drop.
