C2D OEM

Is there an OEM version of the core2duo cpu available yet? I'm going to get an aftermarket cooler anyway and want to save a few bucks.

I got an OEM C2D E6400 from overclockers.co.uk.

Yes, OEM (Tray versions) are available (not sure if for all versions or not). Seems to be about 8 to 10 dollars cheaper than the retail version on the E6300 model. The warranty is reduced from 3 years to 1 year when going to OEM.

Yup they are out there. Easily available here in the UK but don't know about elsewhere.

thanks for those suggestions, the ewiz deal seems to be the best, only other place I could find that was USD was tigerdirect... they're blah.
