It seems like there are a handful of Socket T boards that have distinguished themselves with the Core 2 Duo crowd. It also seems like every generation there is always a stand out combo or Ménage à trois of Motherboard / CPU / Memory that stick out as the smart buy.

So the question is, what is the hot C2D combo right now? The "if you buy this motherboard, this cpu, and this memory" you can't go wrong package.
