C2D inaccurate reading & temp monitor software?

Could use a little guidance here.

Well ive always used speedfan and loved it. It hasnt let me down on my older AMD single and dual-core systems. I just got my new system Abit quadgt with E6400 set up. It seems a little off.

First off. For some reason, Speedfan and CPU-Z(sometimes) are displaying my vcore as 1.45/1.57. Well, I am clearly at stock now so bleh. Core-temp reads it as 1.3250, which is in fact, what it should be. So I am starting to doubt speedfan and CPU-Z. What is another good program that more accurately monitors C2D's and that can sit in the system tray? Or is there one?

This is what speedfan displays as my temps right now as. You can obviously tell there are a few off. :p

System: 19C
CPU: -92C
AUX: -30C
HD0: 32C
HD1: 30C
Core 0: 48C (also confirmed in coretemp)
Core 1: 46C (also confirmed in coretemp)

Vore 1.57v
+12V: 9.45 (What is this supposed to be anyways?)
AVcc: 3.26V (This as well)

With that asked. Does 46/48C at idle sound about right for a stock heatsink with an E6400 at stock volts/speeds? I was hoping these temps would have been lower on stock. I have an Ultra90 coming but....Im having to rethink my decision on going "too budget" of a heatsink. It is summer time and my ambients get fairly high. I havnt even starting ocing yet and they are fairly high.

Core Temp reads temperature based off of TjunctionMax. It will be about 10-15C higher than your BIOS reading utilities, which measure temperature outside of the physical core. Your temps seem about right.

Yeah Im finding it hard to know which to trust. CPU-Z says my vcore is 1.213, coretemp says 1.325, and speedfan says 1.57.

I havnt even overclocked yet and my temps at load are around 64C with stock heatsink. Is this about normal?

Also, I am a little vague on this tjunction stuff. According to coretemp v0.95, my tjunction is 85. Others have stated this is supposed to be 100? Ive seen other peoples screenshots with E6400 B2's and their coretemp .95 shows a 100 tjunction. Not sure why mine shows 85.

Ah, so I'm not the only one who gets strange readings with SpeedFan:

HD0: 36C
Temp1: 33C
Core 0: 34C
Core 1: 32C
Temp2: -128C hmmm...
Temp3: -128C
Temp1: 40C

Fan1: 65217 RPM oh my...
Fan2: 0 RPM
Fan3: 0 RPM
Fan4: 0 RPM

So clearly, my motherboard isn't fully supported ;)...

Hey, I just tried that program (Core Temp), and I got exactly 85C for T-Junction too. Thanks for mentioning that program by the way, it's just what I've been looking for (something that only shows CPU temp and not other stuff like fan RPMs).
