C2d e4300

I have an old (~5 years) C2D system that i built for gaming. I had a 640MB 8800GTS that the fan just died on, killing the card. I'm turning the computer into a media server to reuse the other parts- I have a 5450 DDR2 on the way, since the power draw is so low.

Power consumption is a big issue for me. The E4300 I had was overclocked to about 3.15GHz. I've already dropped it back down to stock (1.8GHz @ 200mHz * 9x clock multiplier). Would it make any sense to underclock the CPU further to save on power since servers require little CPU oomph? If so, should I underclock the CPU or underclock it and drop the voltage?
