I wanted to ask if memory timings make a big difference with intel cpus. Has anyone seen any reviews where this was tested out? I'm OCing my new E4400 and wondered if there is a big performance difference between 5-5-5-15 and 4-4-4-12. Trying to figure out about 1T and 2T as well.

Hmz, 4-4-4-12 vs 5-5-5-15 almost negligible, 2-3% or so? 1t versus 2t = 10% or so. I'm 'estimating' these figures, because I have read them, somewhere, but I can't recall where, and of course don't know the exact numbers anymore.

You'll see a drop of about 0.15 sec with 1M Super Pi. Probably around 1.5% hit. Going from 2MB to 4MB onboard cache will significantly lower the SP time.
