So many heatsinks available it's making my head spin. I'm looking to OC an e6420, and want to spend $20-25. I'd like something on the quieter side. What are my best options? Thanks for your help!

There are only a few options at that price point. First, try the stock cooler. It's better than you might think (orthos load temps are not real world tests) and it runs quietly.

Then maybe check out the Freezer 7 Pro and the Ultra 90.

:thumbsup: Yeah, Freezer 7 or ultra90 are both decent. I hope you arnt planning on a huge overclock though.

Ultra 90 with 92mm Panaflo and run it off 7V. Quiet, efficient and cheap. It's best to supplement this with 120's for the PSU and case.

My E6700 is OC'd to about 3.5 Ghz @ 1.4V with this setup and rarely get's above 40 degrees.

SVC had the Ultra -90's on sale recently.
