I am running c2 at 850 with 1,75 voltage with Majesty m1 cooler.
Yesterday i had a total freeze during unreal. Nothing helped. I thought i burned the dam cpu.
After 8 hours rest it started again.

Too much heat or what?
Should i low the voltage?
Should i put more "grease" on majesty?

When i touch the back of the adapter it's not even warm.
I guess that means nothing.

any suggestions?

well...i get that same prob...for some reason everything runs great but than all of a sudden my computer will freeze in like q3a and i have to reboot...even at like 816 it does it sometimes...not sure why..i can run stress tests all night....ohwell i don't mind rebooting every couple hours if i've been playing games...just goes to show that oc isn't the stablest thing to do..=)

566 oc 850

If your chip has to cool down totally before you can get it to restart. (you memtioned the 8 hours) then I think (this is kind of a long shot) that your CPU or slocket is not quite seated all the way in. And the normal amount of heat that's generated is causing something to expand and causing one of the connectors not to make contact. When it cools down it makes contact again.
Also make sure the heatsink is making good contact with the chip. You should notice a "suction" effect from the thermal compound if applied correctly.
So look your mounting bracket over real good etc. and tell us what you think.

Maybe it's not stable. How do you test? Did you test the video too? It also could be your video or CPU isn't stable with the added heat.

At certain settings, I can stress the CPU forever in Windows but still crash it in heavy gaming. A higher voltage (with good cooling) solved my problem. Now running a C2 at 897, V3. No problems with lockups.

So, I consider any stress testing that doesn't include some video inadequate.

YMMV.
