i think it just stores setup files, but i don't want to delete it if it's important

try moving it to another directory and see if it causes any problems. if not delete it, else you have a backup copy. chances are it's useless but a little caution doesn't hurt.

Do a Google search and it will tell you SWSETUP is

A interpeter with following option's:

copy program's/Files (also complete directoris)
Read/ write files
Delete files
Execute program's
Read or modified ini-files
Read or modified registry
create program groups and menus
already existing field's like date, windows version, windows system, windows directory, ...
the command if/else is possible
declaration and modification of field's is also possible
you can link field's with a simple string-function.
...

Apparently, it's part of the freeware with the same name ... did you remove the it ?
