Hi- anybody know how to reset the Bios password on one of these? Some joker set a password on my bios while I was away from my desk - the nice people at Fujitsu-Siemens say is very easily fixed - £85 + postage!
 
Some laptops have BIOS "reset" switches or buttons on the outside somewhere. Download the manual for your model and look.

Otherwise, you MIGHT be able to open the laptop up and pull the CMOS battery. Again, you'll probably need a detailed hardware manual for it.

Yeah, either open it up and hope to easily find a way to reset CMOS, or find the person who did it and put them in a headlock. No easier way, unfortunately. That's the point of BIOS passwords, afterall 😉
