haven't scanned in a while, don't really use this computer much, brother uses it but doesn't ever scan, scanned today and this is apparently a trojan program:

c:\documents and settings\myrealname\application data\sun\java\deployment\cache\6.0\10\5865008a-2c766bf0\BaaaaBaa.class

should I delete it or no?

edit: I have like 10 threats in the same folder detected. they are named in different variations of "Baaa" and "BaaaBaa" with different numbers of a's... sounds kinda suspicious.
edit2: ooh, there's one called VaaaBaa. cool 😱
 
Delete it, it sure doesn't bring any good to your PC. I don't know what kind of antivirus software you use, I'd personally recommend Nod32, it's only $24.99 and it's the best there is in my opinion. It's very light on resources, unlike Norton and Kaspersky, and speaking from experience, it found viruses even Kaspersky couldn't.
Just my 2c.
P.s - I believe there is a 30day free trial somewhere on the net.
 
I'd rather buy a game for 25 bucks than worry about security. I don't watch porn or go to risky sites, anyways. Using AVC, BTW. Would be nice though to have something more light on resources, but whatever. Thanks for the reply.
 
1) Uninstall all old versions of Sun Java in add or remove programs
2) Download and run CCleaner
3) Download and install the new Java v 6.0 u2
4) Save your $25 and click the link in my sig to get KAV 6.0 lite for free 🙂 You can supplement it with SUPERAntiSpyware free and Cyberhawk if you're interested in comprehensive protection with little drain on system resources. Otherwise use the free online scanners such as F-Secure, NOD32, and Bitdefender.
