Has anyone here have experiance in programming c++ database with POET?

I have been trying to create a new database and have been getting this error:

-2031 : POET was unable to find the database files to open the database.
host name : LOCAL
database name : C:\PROGRAM FILES\POET61\base
physical database name : C:\PROGRAM FILES\POET61\base
logical database name : base
current working directory : C:\PROGRAM FILES\POET61
POET Config file in use :
