well in all fairness the article said the spread between the top 3 and bottom 3 was quite large.

another interesting point is the old, lame duck corolla still matches/bests the new sentra.

Very odd that the Rabbit finished first given that it is slower, not as "crisp" to drive as the 3s, and has the worst milage of the bunch.

I think Mazda has something on their website that says it's a potential hazard to drive the Mazda 3 through a bank drive through.

I'm not a big fan of the VW Rabbit being in 1st place. The exterior looks boring and so does the interior and the gas mileage is not so great considering the power. But I guess the car felt the most solid and smooth to the testers at C&D.

well considering when C&D did an econobox speed test a couple years ago and the RSX got first place solely for having the nicest interior but the slowest times for everything.....i have never trusted any of their comparos ever since. they are full of crap. they let the one's that have multi page ad's in their magazine win
