Link.

EA games remind me of Zoolander. I'm sure there's more to games than making them look really really good and they intend to find out. Slowly.

Please don't butcher this EA. I'm hoping this a release from the new EA we've been promised.

They're current games are at best mediocre. CNC3 was far superior to Universe at War. When Westwood became Petroglyph the quality of their games went down as well.

They were also extremely off in RA and RA2, it's a trend with that series. I mean just look at the infantry sizes in RA2 compared to the Tanks, or the vehicles sizes compared to the buildings in the original.

They had them in RA2 also, somehow they had really strong armor and took forever to kill

Yep, i will not be buying another cnc game after cnc3, it was OK, but thats not good enough for something carrying the nc label. Ive got sins of a solar empire and company of heros to occupy me anyways, to hell with what EA make.

If its anywhere near as bad as C&C3, I wont be adding it to my almost complete C&C collection.

Me too. I played it to death once I figured out how easy it was to mod.
I gave a tomahawk launcher a nuke like missle that could shoot from anywhere on the map. Gave the burst a 10 sec. delay once it impacted....then boom....good bye enemy base.

Reminds me of how moddable Red Alert1 was and also that map in one of the expansions where a Chronosphere had malfunctioned and gave normal Heavy Tanks a double barrel Telsa cannon.

I loved giving basic infantry a Cruiser Cannon or changing Dogs to fire some gun. So hilariously funny.

This looks interesting. I'm not expecting a revolutionary game here, but if it's anything like C&C3 or RA2 I will probably get it. I thought C&C3 was excellent.

RA's mod capabilities kept me playing it regularly for over three years. I still have the TC I worked on many years ago and still fire up skirmishes in it occasionally.

That mission was called Paradox Equation. The enemy had most of the better units in it though, like the cruiser artillery. :p

If you gave the dogs a normal weapon, they would actually turn into the projectile and then move back from the explosion to their original position. :D

I've been an RTS fan for a decade, but how is this stale, tired series spawning sequels so quickly? C&C3 plays exactly like Tiberium Sun did 10 years ago, except for looking prettier. :-/

Starcraft II will play nearly identical to Starcraft. That doesn't make it "stale" by any means. Part of the reason why people liked CNC3 was that it was so similar to the original command and conquer, rather than any radical departures like CNC: Generals.
