Well back to the orig topic it doesn run a little laggy especially with the movies.... Even on my AMD 2000+ XP with 256 ddr. I have it at 1024x768 with the lowest details so I bet your really gonna need 512 to play it smoothly like was mentioned earlier in this thread...
Well about time to go back into the game, so much for waiting Rent. You can sit on your morals for 2 days I guess...

Well if they put in so much time why not release a god damn demo? I hate stupid studios that expect people to pay for their game to go home and find out it either sucks balls or doesnt play on their system.... And for the record I warezed the hell out of this release and already placed my order because of the warez copy.
dude alot of games DO get demo'd... its usually after the release or whatever. Be patient. If you can't wait then there are always reviews from mags and stuff... like PC Gamer or whatever. If you buy a game and find out it sucks, thats your own fault for not doing the research beforehand.

Thats not my point... I shouldnt have to wait to demo the game and also most demos sucks anyways and arent worth the bw. I warez ever game I even consider buiying for that simple fact.

Anyway, I preordered the game and it should be in within the next week or so 😀 But the game is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet as hell. IMO generals has the best graphics of ANY RTS game that I have played (including WC3). The game runs very good on my system @ 1280*960 on max details (XP 2600+, 128 Mb 9500Pro, 512Mb RAM). The missions are a bit on the shorter side as I beat the U.S. side in about 3 hrs and am almost done with the Chinese faction too. Ill post some screen shots later if I figure out which key it is (using ctrl+printscreen and tabbing out to paste onto paint makes the game look like sh!t)
Do you get the freebies if you preorder it in store is it net only?
I usually get my games elsewhere cept for these requiring valid keys to play online. I still like to try b4 i buy though.
