c&c generals zero hour with software graphic rendering?

What is the point of software rendering? It just makes a game lag like hell making your expensive hardware laugh at you.

There is a simple way to turn software rendering off in Zero Hour right?

Lag? Hm don't know how software graphic rendering would increase the latency with your connection to the server... maybe pick up a NIC that's not so CPU dependent.
