C&C Generals beta version tomorrow!!

Fileplanet will offer a free multiplayer test of C&C generals tomorrow, the thing is, the minimum requirements are a 2 GHz CPU, 512 MB Ram and a GeForce 4 video card!!

Is it me, or is this game really gonna be tough on the hardware??!?! (for a reference, Sim City 4 requires only a P3 500 MHz with 128 MB ram and it stutters like hell on my Athlon 1 GHz with 512 MB Ram at the lowest resolution!!)

How can Westwood hope to make this game a best seller if only people who bought a computer in the last 6 months can play?

The requirements are crazy but I'm sure hard core C&C fans will waste precious bandwidth and download it anyways.

I liked Renegade but I didn't buy the game because of the limited amount of servers, probably due to the server requirements for larger player games.
