And the worst thing is that after 4 patches this is still an unsolved problem. I hate EA because they release buggy games, make a quick buck, and quickly abandon them.

It is funny that you mentioned that, after a couple of years i forgot about it. A couple of friends and i dug them up a few weeks ago, loaded them all up (separate cds/keys/etc) then loaded the same patches right after the install. Then went into the game, only two of us could get them to work together...... After all these years.... Lets just cross our fingers for C&C3.

Yeah its really the only game my friends and I play beside counter-strike... EA is a source of constant frustration for us.

And of course, the only way C&C3 will be good is if EA gets "lucky"... I swear the mismatch bug was probably the worst possible problem any kind of RTS game could have.
