Are they usually post bachelor's or post masters programs?
I've applied to, and have been accepted into, a nursing CAGS program at UMass Lowell for this fall. Most of the credits I can then roll into one of several nurse practitioner programs, according to the website. So for 47 credits I can get both a psyche NP and a gerontological CAGS.
Yet, when I investigate other nursing schools the CAGS programs are post master's programs. That translates to 45 credits for the NP + an additional 12 credits for the CAGS.
So is this a sweet deal that I shouldn't investigate too closely or do you think this may blow up in my face?
