BYTECC external enclosure USB 2.0 chipsets

if i'd gotten one of those instead of my Vantec units, I'd be able to tell you 😛

but I have some Nextar2's and they work well, just FYI.

Nextar2's are much better than the original Nextar.
 
I have the 740 model but I'll have to check later since I'm not home. BTW, mine works flawlessly and I like how it's made of aluminum. It's a very solid unit.

Ok, I just checked and it looks like an ALi chipset.

This does look like an excellent enclosure! At first glance it looked like a 5.25" but its really not (I want compact). Cypress chipset, quiet 80mm fan, aluminum, and plastic corners for shock absobsion. I'm sold! Although I'm going to set a price alert on it in case it goes free shipping.
