Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand on trying to find out how I can use the Aero Cool X-vision Fan controller without needing to plug it into a motherboard. I'm looking to use it in an external capacity however when plugged into a 12v molex power feed it won't turn on. The only thing that I can really think of is that it needs to have a signal of boot up sent to it through the first fan input which is also supposed to be attached to a motherboard fan header. Any suggestions?

-Thanks for your input!

it should only require u taking the 12V from the psu directly.

what type of fan contorller only allows u plug it into the motherboard?
i have never seen that type outside nvidias esa whatchamacall it, that came out a long time ago.
