Bypass capacitor array, and the AGP bus....

For those who tinker.........Abit KR7A-133 (KT266a). 4:2:1 ratio is the best I can get.

Does anyone think it would be worth the time to set up an array of bypass capacitors in the AGP signal path, seeing as how the AGP craps out on this board way before the PCI bus? By worth the time, I mean will it help, or is the AGP archetecture/design such that it will not help.

My CPU goes to 2.44 GHZ, and the PCI Bus to 200 Mhz. My AGP only to 175 Mhz FSB, before the degradation begins, and I'm forced to begin chopping out AGP Fastwrites, then Side Band Addressing, then shortly after that (185 Mhz FSB), I have to run AGP 2X, and by 190 Mhz FSB I have to run at AGP 1X. Because of this, running games at 175 Mhz FSB is almost as fast as at 190 Mhz FSB.

Just pondering........
