Fill in the blank.

I just sold my 08 civic SI, no particular reason but just wanted something different. Any suggestions on something, lets say, $16,000 or lower? Used or new, althought I know I wont get much new with that... Just looking for suggestions before I go out and look at everything.

Bad move IMO. I imagine you were the original owner and know the car was maintained properly. Now you're looking for a used sports car that's probably been beat to shit and maintained like garbage.

$16k or under is going to be used if you don't want to downgrade. 08 Civic SI that you already have is $16k-20k used.

I think hes trying to take the money of the car he has in value and transfer that to another car of the similar price

When I first purchased the SI, I told my self it was long term, but I got such an awesome offer for my car that I couldnt pass it up, way more than I would have ever imagined selling the car for. Also, I am willing to go a little above 16...just nothing like 25 or anything like that.

Oh, I see. That changes the ballgame quite a bit. You can get something really nice only a year old or so. Top of the line GTi. Slightly used 370z, etc.

i'd go for a 370, or perhaps an older g35

i'm curious, how much did you sell your SI for and how many miles did it have? i have an 07 with ~50k that I'm not sure if I want to keep or sell.

You have any needs based on environment? Snow, Ice, ect...

I'd probably look for a gently loved Evo or S2000, but if you want more muscle, there are plenty of options in that direction too.

Seriously, How much are they in the US?

Considering they didn't get them in the U.S. until the series 2 111Rs, you'd be lucky to find them under 25k. The Rover engine's never been federalized afaik.

I am calling Shenanigans on this. Please show me where a 1-year old GTI or 370z is ~16k. You could find some older 350z's for <20k, but I have not seen any 370z's this low.
