might get a cheap athlon64 or even the cheapest X2 for socket 939 if the prices are low as ive seen from dailytech.

but im also getting core 2 duo for sure.
 
just waiting for dual core price drops. then i might upgrade my box to AM2. But I really want a mac... so spensive.. and not AMD inside (this is purely from a support amd perspective, not best chip perspective).
 
Damn. now I have to save up even more money so I can afford a AM2 board and CPU, as I was planning on getting another 939
