I think I can probably spell better in spanish than english since once you learn the alphabet it is pretty straight forward unlike english with all the slient letters and other oddities.

Better question is....why are they carrying signs in English about boycotting products from Denmark?

Heheh yeah. Are they trying to tell the Danish that Pakistanis aren't going to buy their products? Why not do it in Danish? Or is it to tell Pakistanis not to buy Danish products? WTF are they thinking.

Last time diddn't they riot and kill a bunch of themselves over this? Now that doesn't make any sense. Wouldn't they go after Danes in Pakistan?

I would guess it's the easiest way to get on TV. Everyone wants to be on TV.

how many of us would make a sign in another language without having the spelling/ context checked by someone who knew that language?

Perhaps the signs were made for them by journalists from English speaking countries, and they thought they might throw off suspicion by misspelling a word or two?

Kind of like the bit where they found out a huge number of journalists were handing out American flags and lighters to people in the Middle East, so they could get pictures of them burning the flags.

I loved the reporter in New Orleans after Katrina rowing down the road in a boat while some guy walks in the ankle deep water behind him. 🙂
