You think you are being clever when you use the term regime, all it really does is show what a blinded by hate moron you are.

A form of government: a fascist regime.
A government in power; administration: suffered under the new regime.
A prevailing social system or pattern.
The period during which a particular administration or system prevails.
A regulated system, as of diet and exercise; a regimen

Its does show thier ignorance and unfound hate towards the president. However, I dont think they start listening to any logical agrueements.

and while were at it...if you're talking about more than one Bush, the proper term isn't "the bush family", its "the bush horde", same as in a "horde of gerbils".

Which logical argument would that be? The second definition, "A government in power; administration", is perfectly in sync with saying the Bush Regime. YABAs don't like it because the word carries a negative connotation. This is shown by the sample usage, which you forgot to italicize. (I fixed it for you.) Nonetheless, the usage is appropriate given the definiton. They even use "administration" as a definition for regime.

Just the fact this thread is in existance shows how fascist, and worried about their own reputations, the Bush apologists are, and how much their beloved leader deserves to be head of something most certainly called a "Regime". And it will be as temporary as it suggests.

Speaking of names, The Bush Horde fits pretty damn well too (see the link). Check this classic bit out:

Additionally, Bush's horde of civilian defense partners have stated quite
clearly that they believe the policy of the US should be to prevent any
other countries acquiring or *aspiring* to positions of regional power. The
biggest competitors in that regard are the future EU and China, both of whom
rely much more heavily on Middle East oil than we do. Even if we don't take
Iraq for the pipeline of oil for ourselves, it certainly gives us a distinct
strategic advantage if we've got our hands on the taps of the rest of the
world's supplies.

That's just the oil/power aspect of it. There are other reasons, none of
which have anything to do with a fear of a threat (which has probably been
the biggest joke/stretch of all) or with a concern for humanity.

I think "the Bush infestation" fits better.

Nah - Cheney is too old and might not make it that long;). I was thinking someone along the lines of Olympia J. Snowe - that'd get the Dem's panties in a bunch:D

Heh, although I'd rather see another, more moderate administration run the country than what currently exists, I too would like to see these hard-core liberals deal with what alchemize said just for the fun of it. I actually share some of the views people have against the Bush administration, but I find the downright vitriolic hatred of the Bush "regime", as they call it, to be a bit extreme, as evidenced by this thread. We can do much, much worse as far as electing a president than we have with the current president.

LOL. You guys are going to have to find someone with a little integrity and a primate-level IQ if you want to retake the White House in 2008. I could vote for McCain depending on who the Dems run against him. Powell would also be an interesting choice, but he's tainted by the Bush-lite stain. He'll have four years to cleanse himself. Cheney? Son of Satan, the Dems would have to run Satan himself to get me to vote for Cheney. Same for most of the other fascists around the White House today.

As I re-call many people also called the Clinton administration the "Clinton Regime" as well.

McCain is a dried up horse. By the time '08 rolls around he'll be just another "also ran in...". The GOP will need a new face, but you're right - Powell has probably let his chances slip a bit with the "undecided vote" - He'd have to have a decent next 5 years to sustain his political "power".
